At A Shore Thing, we are always trying to find new approaches to the tried and true. You will find a new vintage of redesigned furniture and accessories for you and your home. Our inspiration comes from creativity and imagination and we want to make your

home spaces flourish with fresh color and style. We are the perfect place to escape for a breath of fresh “ocean” air.

Our assorted collections include:

Washed a Shore Wooden Signs; A local North Shore artist, from the Newburyport area, combs New England beaches reclaiming lumber and driftwood from the sea.

Signs are then painted in a distressed manner and hand lettered in one of hundreds of whimsical sayings. Unique seascapes are also created on petite to grand pieces to decorate your home or garden. Decorating with these recycled pieces of art reduces the debris sent to landfills and helps clean our beautiful shores.

Tippy Stockton; jewelry that women of all ages will find versatile and easy to wear for casual or formal occasions. Many of pieces are Vintage - from a small bead, to a length of Vintage brass chain, bringing in those rich elements and textures from days gone by will hopefully bring joy and inspire people to reflect on their own history. Each piece of jewelry is handmade in America.

Judy Jackson Stoneware; Judy Jackson Stoneware creates handmade pieces for home and restaurant use. Each piece, whether wheel thrown, slab built, slip cast, or made combining these methods, is personally designed by me and created and glazed in my New York studio. All pieces are oxidation fired to a durable stoneware temperature right here in the studio, and work is shipped daily via UPS. All designs have evolved from simple respect for form and the unending ability of clay to respond to my abilities to create forms I find pleasing. And I like to glaze in a manner that responds to form: pouring and dipping.

Art By Alyssa; Originally from Ledyard, Connecticut, Alyssa now resides in Beverly, Massachusetts, where she completed her BFA from Montserrat College of Art in 2007.

Alyssa's fun outlook on life and love for bright colors can be seen in just about every one of her oil paintings. Since graduating, along with pursuing her art career, she managed and designed for a fine stationery shop in Hamilton, and is now featured in A Shore Thing!

Calli B Jewelry; The Calli b. collection comprises an array of high quality, exquisite handcrafted genuine gemstone & cultured freshwater pearl jewelry. Each piece of jewelry in the Calli b. collection is meticulously hand crafted and custom designed by the artist, Marianne Janik. The stones that she selects are very unique, an attribute that clearly sets her designs apart from others. The discerning eye will be sure to take notice and appreciate her particular attention to detail.
